Thread: Where would you go during a zombie apocalypse? How would you prepare?

Yeah, Patrick. I would probably retreat into the highlands as well. It's isolated, there's plenty of fresh water, lots of animals to hunt and fish to catch. Also there are mountains and lochs everywhere, so if the zombies can't climb or swim, they're pretty much fucked.

Though not secluded at all, Edinburgh castle looks like a suitable place to hold off an army of zombies.




Also, Stirling castle would be a great defensible position.




I'm guessing those places would be taken up pretty quickly by the military, but there are plenty of other castles and forts all over Scotland. If all of the survivors get together in individual groups and take up position in these places, we could all have one each.

I don't think I ever have to worry about falling to a zombielike hunger for brains - I had to dissect a sheep brain in class today, and it was completely disgusting.

Actually I have, I study neuroscience here at university and we had a chance to handle some preserved human brains. They were beautiful <3

I changed my mind...

I would build a time machine, go back in time to before the incident causing the outbreak occurred and stop it. If the incident happened before the time machine was ready then plan B would be a castle in the middle of a lake or an oil rig as someone already suggested, along with plenty of guns, ammo and material for growing food. There I could work on the time machine until its completion.
