Tommo's right, at least about methamphetamine. That's not to say he's wrong about the alcohol withdrawal, I just know that meth abuse, amphetamine abuse, and other stimulant abuse can cause this, along with psychosis that's indistinguishable from schizophrenia--the only difference being it eventually subsides after cessation of the drug. Alcohol withdrawal makes sense, the body suffers a rebound effect after whatever drug leaves the body, and since alcohol is a depressant, the rebound effect would be excitatory, like stimulants.

That being said, if you're experiencing this and you don't drink, abuse drugs, or drink caffeinated beverages, that'd be some shit.
