The red 'X's probably mean that you're using IE in which case every web developer and, most especially, designer, hates your guts. Rectify the situation here or (recommended) here.

I have Google Chrome installed but I'm not changing my browser every time I can't see something just because some people like a different one. I swear, the arguments people have over what browser is better, it's just stupid. They're all good browsers, and each has good and bad points.

You seeing red Xs is not the point. The point is that IE stands apart from all other browsers. I can write an HTML/CSS page and every browser will render it correctly. Except IE. It's because the other browsers follow web standards and IE doesn't. I just got so sick of of hacking around it that I quit web design/development. I sleep on the beach instead of having a good career as a web developer because of people like you. Feel bad. Feel very bad.

Actually that makes perfect sense. It's one of the reasons I only date women that are 20 and up.
