Well the best thing about Windows 8 is, it's made safe for work.

Like I had mentioned earlier, the window can take up to a minimum of 1/4 of the screen, if you just slide it all the way to either ends of the screen, it'll vanish and there wouldn't even be an icon on the taskbar showing a program is opened if you're using an app (or you can just switch to the main screen instantly by pressing the windows button).
There might be tons of other problems, like there are for every new released thing, but I feel that Windows 8 has its pros too. They have split up searching into category, unlike how we usually search on Windows 7 and all your files, programs are displayed at once. Searching on Windows 8 is split up into apps, files and tools I think. At first I thought it was a hassle till my friend pointed out that it was coded that way to speed things up. I recalled back and indeed searching was done very fast, almost within a split second.
