Nope. You're playing against the house so they don't give you fair odds. Really any game where you're playing against other players and not the house will allow you to make money as long as it allows room for playing well and you can play well enough to cover the house's cut.

Exactly. Most casinos these days play with a large number of decks making counting incredibly difficult, and many casinos are implementing tracking devices in the actual chips to monitor suspicious fluctuations in betting patterns, so even if you manage to somehow count the deck you will almost certainly get caught and then potentially barred from many other casinos too.

I wanted so bad to find some psychedelics. Or at least some weed....

But, I was successful in staying unsober pretty consistently. I had chardonnay on the plane ride there, then when we got to the room I ordered a bottle of champagne and drank it while wandering around the casino. At dinner I had some more chardonnay too, then went back to the room and finished off the champagne and crashed because I was tired from the flight. Next day I woke up and bought a smaller bottle of champagne and finished it before breakfast, where I had five or six mimosas, and a glass of just champagne. I felt fine physically but was getting tired of being drunk so I let it wear down a bit, then took 3 Somas (carisoprodol) of an unimportant origin in an attempt to skip the hangover. (Soma makes you kind of drunk too, not totally but it does get you up there, and it doesn't have a hangover of it's own, so I had hoped to cheat the system.) The pills made me significantly zonked so I decided to wander the casino trying to scout out stoners but was unsuccessful, so I bought a small bottle of gin and split it with my dad. I layed in bed texting people trying to stay awake, but whenever I would close my eyes I started getting hypnagogia, then I just passed out. I woke up and felt fine for an hour, then suddenly my plan backfired and I had one of the worst hangovers of my life. >.O I started panicking too and was a bit depressed since I wasn't supposed to be drinking anyway and I went waaay overboard with it, so I popped three Libriums (anti-anxiety pills) and then spent most of the day trying not to move or be in bright areas, but then later we went to Benihana and had a frickin' awesome chef who was hilarious, and I felt better by then. That's about it for the drugs.... Bleh.

I didn't win anything, but I did come back with more money because so many kept giving me money to gamble with, and I realized that I could just hold on to it instead.
