new year's resolutions - 2010

it seems i haven't made any new year's resolutions for a while...

mine are very simple for 2010.

1. get a new job

2. get a new girlfriend

3. have more/better lucid dreams

that's it.

1) Stop smoking (again).
2) Get myself (back) in shape.
3) Do something with my music or art skills - preferably music.
4) Keep my goddamn dream journal updated!

I feel less poor personally after my last visit home, but several family members could use some assistance--a large proportion of Xmas dinner came from a food bank.

1.) Keep a dream journal for more than a day.
~~2.) Don't eat any platypusses.~~
2.) Use my arts skills that I know I have.
3.) Find it in my focus to make a good, quality sprite.

1) Shed some weight, even if only 5lbs...
2) Make a more serious effort to get my music professionally recorded...or almost professionally
3) Spend less money on lunch at work (on a good day, I'll spend $5 at most...on a bad, it can be upwards of $12)
4) Force myself to draw, write, play bass and compose music on a more-or-less continuous basis, for the sake of bettering myself in these areas

...Not that it's likely I'll succeed in any of those resolutions.

Hmm.... maybe I'll take some inspiration from you and:

2. Exercise regularly
3. READ books often
4. Meditate daily
5. Keep practicing piano, theremin and music theory

I have ohh so many.
To list a few:

1. Lucid Dream at least 4 times a week
2. Keep my dream journal updated.
3. Meditate and do yoga daily
4. Write and take pictures every single day
5. Spend less time on the computer and more time with my family, friends and nature.
