Post Is this lucid pill effective?

I was looking through amazon, and came across this lucid dream pill.

Amazon.com: Lucid Dreams - 60 Capsule Lucid Dreaming Supplement + Lucid Dream Instructional E-Guide: Health & Personal Care

The website for this pill is as follows: Luciddreamshop.com

they say they have melantonin (or however you spell it) inside these but im not sure. the reviews are good but it can just be the employees. so can someone please tell me if it actually works or there experience with this specific product.
and if it doesnt work can someone please tell me a really effective product that helps with WILDing. last but not least if the product i told you about does work can you tell me how i can use it for WILDing

I don't know much about this pill specifically, but seeing as their isn't any actual drug in there, just nutritional supplements, I would say it's no better than just a good diet. Your body makes melatonin from left over seretonin, which is excreted during the presence of sunlight. No supplement is necessary.

      Just my thoughts.

The only supplement I take religiously is B complex. Does it help? Maybe... but that not why I take it. I would be wary of any site selling 'lucid dream' pills.

Melatonin just helps you fall asleep. Besides, lucidity is caused by awareness and not how many nutrients you've ingested (with the exception of vitamin B6 - it may increase the vividness of your dreams, and possibly your ability to recognize that you're dreaming). There won't be anything for WILDing, as WILDing doesn't require necessarily vivid dreams or anything else but the ability to maintain your awareness as you enter a dream - again, I don't believe there are supplements that can help with this. Meditation and practice is the way to go!

Long story short, there is no such thing as a get-lucid-quick product.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Hmmm...that's interesting.

It sounds like it doesn't actually give you lucidity, but just makes your dreams wild and crazy. I agree with what Puffin said. The best way to get lucid is to pick a technique and stay dedicated to it. You will just waste your time looking for "things that make you lucid right away".

I got these because they were cheaper than others.

First night I took it, I felt vibrations and heard auditory hallucinations pretty quickly. Second night, same exact thing. Both times, I was exhausted, so I went straight into my dreams, and they were fairly vivid. Past two nights, I took them, and there wasn't much to mention.
