From personal experience with both, I LD a lot less during time periods when I'm smoking. Like you said, it affects recall. I have great recall when I'm not smoking, but when I am, it's terrible. |

So I've been on and off with both marijuana and lucid dreaming. It doesn't really affect me so much except for recall. I just find because of the whole process of obtaining it with its illegality, it takes me from performing RC's and maintaining ADA. I do keep a dream journal which aids me in remembering dreams. But I'm aware that there are its pros and cons I'm just starting this thread to raise this question: what method should I try getting to sleep a good amount of time after I smoke and are there any other smokers out there that have tips to maintain the RC's and ADA? Much thanks. |

From my experience back in the way back (maybe even before you were born) the negative effects of THC last for over a week or two, assuming you smoke daily. I know if some one is into smoking, you just have to make due with LDing being handicapped and desire to get good LDs is probably not enough to stear you away from the drug. I am sure being actively bombed on it makes the negative effects worse, but honestly, you will not realize your LD potential until long after it has cleared your system, because your brain has to rebuild the CB1 and CB2 receptors. Long term use actually alters the amount of receptors, and they do not come back over night. |

Yeah I think that would help me a lot in maintaining a good recall |
