I had a really bizarre False Awakening once where I too felt "evil" and saw a shadow like figure. I don't know anything about energy balls so I didn't try to fight it. It was almost like there was nothing there, not even a shadow...a ghost spirit...something evil I don't know. Anyway it grabbed me and held my hands behind my back constraining me and I was screaming and screaming and begging for it to let me go. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror and saw myself screaming and saw my hands behind my back but there was nothing there constraining me. It was the strangest feeling. Anyway, I'll spare you all the graphic details but alot more happened before I finally woke up. It scared the hell out of me...but I haven't let it stop my LDing...I've had far too many wonderful and amazing experiences to let one or two bad ones get me down.
