First Lucid Dream after patient waiting

So this morning I finally had that LD I've been waiting for. It was right after I woke up from a normal dream. After waking I kept picturing the dream and fell asleep. Then I woke up and decided to do a RC. I checked my hands and saw that I had more than 5 fingers. Hell, I even had small fingers growing out of my other fingers. That was when I knew this was a lucid dream. At that same moment of realization, my body started feeling jittery, like vibrating. In an effort not to wake up, I looked at my hands again. Then I felt normal. I decided to check my phone for any differences and noticed that my wallpaper was just all black now. I originally had a galaxy wallpaper. All of my apps were there. Then I went to the kitchen and for some reason the computer was there. I decided to go on lucid views to see how I can better control this dream. The buttons wouldn't work properly and I couldn't get on. Then for some reason I laid on my bed and closed my eyes. Seconds later I opened them again and this time I was in real life. Although it was a short LD and not very satisfying, I am quite happy that it worked for me. Any analysis someone wants to share?

Congrats! That sounded like a cool thing to do in an LD. I've checked things too, and the differences are either very big, or very small (if you can find them).

I've had fingers growing out of my other fingers too.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Congratulations on noticing all the small differences. Don't let those false awakenings fool you.

This sounds a bit awkward, but touch everything in reach before you go off to do things. This means the walls, ground, trees, or whatever else you can get your hands on. Maybe even feel yourself... XD'

Congrats on your first lucid! It's great that you took some time to observe the dream. Even though the dream was short, keep that practice up and you'll have awesome lucids. And good sound advice puffin

Your all very supportive, and I wanna thank all of you at dream views because I never would have had that LD in the first place if it wasn't for this website.

I've definitely experienced that vibration/tingly experience in probably about 80% of my Ld's. I just see it as a way to transition, I know once I get past that momentary almost paralysis, I am let free to do anything I can conceive of. Congrats on your first LD. They just get better from here.
The Key is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams, because if you can do that, you can do anything.
