What I do first is stabilize while wondering what my goals are, always think about it before going to sleep, I think about stabilizing and goals, that is.

I think my logic center just doesn't work as well as I would like that moment.

I use to feel my weight to stabilize my dream (It works best for me) and it's good to think about my goals when I have the time to do it. It works when I have the time. Nowadays I don't have much time to spend around lucid dreaming (may be I have a little by now to visit this site).
When I realized I was dreaming (four times this month) I didn't have any goals. I didn't remember anything about what I wanted to do before. I ended up improvising (if I did something) with whatever I had at hand and I lost the dreams.
I'm wondering if there are people who don't plan to lucid dream but they know what to do whenever it happens or at least most of the times.

THANK YOU! I read this yesterday and tried it. It helped me a lot to stabilize my dream. I always had balance issues, but this helped a lot! So yeah... thanx again

Box77, the great thing about lucid dreaming is that you don't need time. You can be busy all day and still LD! It's such a great activity because it really doesn't take any time out of your day - you'd be sleeping anyways!
