Finding This Forum made me think.

Well, I just currently found out what a lucid is... And I've been doing it my whole life... I just didn't know I was doing it..
One of the most recent times is:
Well I couldn't sleep all night and when I finally went to bed I realized I was dreaming I didn't think much of it at the time.. So I wondered what it would feel like to fly.. I jumped up in the air levitated for a little while I was so excited that I almost woke up so I got back on the ground and I wanted to run as fast as I could... In my mind I was running approximately 80-200 MPH on a desert road. I soon woke up when I jumped off a cliff couldn't stop myself and sort of hit the ground and woke up... I was shocked knowing that I did that all by my self.. Like I said I didn't think much about it at the time..

I'm trying to find a pattern with people such as yourself to who lucid dreaming comes naturally.

      Have any native american blood?

I just found this site too and I was wondering why it seems so difficult for most people to Lucid dream...I've been doing it since I was a kid, I cant even begin to count how many i've had. I've also been able to control everything for the most part since I was maybe 11 or 12...like telekinesis, flying, meeting whoever I want and I never thought it was a big deal until I started researching lucid dreaming. I wonder what is different about those of us who do it naturally? I know that my dad has always had lucid dreams. Wanting, have you ever seen if any of your relatives lucid dream regularly?

lucky =P. i guess to you finding out not everyone lucid dreams is like me finding out some people dont even know they have dreams. im not sure why its harder for some people, it probably depends on if they know and care about it and thier attitiude and confidence towards it.

I wish I were part of the rare amount of people who can easily dream lucid and without much effort. Either way, keep up the good work! You should check out the Dream Control part of the forums and look up how to maintain lucidity.

I too find it weird such that 'Why is it so hard for people to have LDs? Is there something wrong with me?' when I 1st found this site.
And every time I hear you guys talking about inducing methods and all..I had nothing to say, or rather, do not know what to say since I've not experienced it myself to cause an LD before.
There's just one thing..I do not wake up when I fell off a cliff, I'll just fly/float/'Bam' to the ground and stand up.

      Goals:
      1. Attacking my enemies instead of running away from them~ Ultimately taking control of my dream situation.
      2. Remember that I can always summon a shield around me to protect myself in dreams. No need to fear!

Nice. I've been lucid dreaming for 12 years now. Back in the old days, I just fell asleep and attained a level of lucidity where I can freely interact with the dream environment. When I found out about actual scientific research into lucid dreaming, I was astonished. Whaaat?
