I just woke up from my first (proper) lucid dream in 11 years.
(I've had 2 other lucid dreams in the meantime, but in those I woke up as soon as I became lucid. Not because of the excitement, but because I for some reason used "waking up" as a reality check - if I can wake up, it's a dream.)

I realised that I was dreaming without doing a reality check. But even though I was aware that it was a dream, I did not believe it, because it was the most vivid dream I ever had. I could feel the floor beneath my feet as I walked, I could even feel the muscles in my legs working with every step I took.

I poked my finger through my palm to confirm I was dreaming. It worked on the first try. I felt a strange, cold sensation as my finger moved through my palm. For some reason I let my finger sit through my palm for a while and just examined it.

I also met my dream guide, who taught me how to properly use dream control to change and summon stuff. But I forgot who it was.

Anyways, I have no idea why I created this thread. I guess I'm just happy that my effort is finally paying off, and wanted to share it with you guys.
I hope I'll have lucid dreams more frequently now.
