Thread: I finally ate something in a LD ( the taste of victory)

I once decided to drink Hydrochloric acid, as my teacher always said that it would kill me.
Well, I decided that I would prove him wrong, and that by using pure belief, I would be able to drink it without being burned.
Well, it seems that, in real life, my chemistry teacher always rattled on about the dangers of acid, so I can only assume he was the reason that my subconcious refused to accept the concept that acid wasn't dangerous as I was in a dream. Hence why I suffered extreme internal corrosion, burning, pain and subsiquently death.
Thanks, Mr Niven. Even in my dreams, you still managed to find a way to make my day depressing.

Honestly, I'd go with the acid every time!

I had some Roast Beef made by my dream Grandma, it was the freaking bomb. That is all I have eaten. I was sitting down to eat in one my long lucid dreams and right when the food got there I got really mad at one of the dream characters and got in a fight. I think I was losing lucidity, because I have no idea why I did that.

Lolz, Minecraft... I recently had 3 dreams where I was in Minecraft.

I ate a metal pipe once. Eating was (and still is) one of my goals, and at the time this was the only thing within arms-reach. It tasted like electricity (don't ask me how I know what electricity tastes like). As best I can describe, it tasted metallic and made my mouth tingle. I also licked a wall which, shockingly, tasted like drywall (again, don't ask xD)

Somehow there are always cans of Cola somewhere in my dream. Once I found a can in my pocket and another it was taped to a wall. The taste was quite weird, but good enough.

I usually eat new stuff in my dreams, once in a non-lucid I ate chips with chicken and duck flavour, and tasted exactly as expected. The vividness of the taste surprised me.
