1st Lucid after two weeks of trying

I was in an office buildings (skyscraper) having a bad anxiety dream. I looked outside a window and saw something (don't remember what) that I knew could only exist in a dream. I immediately spun in 360 and then touched a desk. I was then completely lucid. I immediately closed garage doors (very out of place, I know) in front of everyone that was giving me anxiety in the dream. I then had 'relations' and then decided I was going to fly out over the city. At this point I started loosing lucidity and it turned back into anxiety dream. It was storming and lightning outside. I couldnt maintain flying in the office so I knew when I went out the window i would fall.

But I achieved this Lucid Dream only after two weeks of learning about Lucid Dreams and how to achieve them. I have been working on my 'Awareness' but not as much as I should. I am very excited that this is the first of many.

feel a little guilty about relations in my dream, is this considered cheating?

Congratulations on your first lucid. After achieving your first it will become much easier to get lucid. (Atleast it was for me) Because you can imagine what it feels like to be lucid. About the "relations" part, I can't really help you with that. You must decide, if it's wrong or not. So it depends on your ethics and morale.

      Congrats on your first lucid!

If you have not done so yet, now is perfect time to read up on dream stabilization and control. Lots of good tutorials in DV Wiki and in posts. And about the "relations". It really is up to you to decide. I, personally, don't see it as cheating. Happy dreams

I am sorry. In all fairness I was pretty close to Lucidity before trying. Many times I would realize I was dreaming and immediately wake up. Other times I would catch myself slipping in and out from dreams to awake and back to dreams. So I think I have been on the edge for awhile and just didn't realize lucid dreaming really worked until I started reading up on it after I saw the Reme Glasses on the news.

      It all depends upon concentration.

Thanks! I can't wait to do it again. I have had very vivid dreams the last two nights but have not been able to obtain lucidity again yet!

When I go to bed at night I immediately start dreaming when I fall asleep so I decided I should read up on how to WILD. As I was just reading, first i realized these procedures are pretty close to what I have been doing. Then I suddenly realized that while I was trying to WILD last night. I was semi-successfull. I had a picture of a fairy book looking farm that was becoming a clear dream image then Suddenly a big dark demon appeared to the right of the image and was leaning on it as if the image was on a tv and the demon was leaning on the tv. the demon pointed at me and said "you should not be here!". I immediately woke up and was very scared.

I think the reason for this is two fold. First I am Catholic and i think the churches stance is that Lucid Dreaming is not a good practice and Second I read yesterday someone else's scary dream about being in a well with a demon. The two of these items must have stuck in my subconscious.
