Thread: Flew for the First Time after 45+ lucids

Awesome! Did you have a lot of control?

Great news! But i have a question: What stopped you before? Its quite easy to fly in our dreams, of course the first times you do it consciously you may fall or reach just a determined altitude, but why you couldnt fly before?

I was never able to fly because i never had good dream control. This time i just knew i was going to do it and got it done. But it was more of like gliding than flying. Usually i cant fly in my dreams, but i can jump really high. I was being chased by a killer and was just like i need to gtfo of here

After 45 LDs? I just took of like Neo in the second matrix film when I first time became lucid. But hey nice!

I found out that a good way to fly is to yell "Up, Up, and Away!" like Superman does and then launch yourself off the ground.

I didn't even try to fly in my first couple LDs. In one of my first ones though, I chased down a speeding Corvette ZR1.
