First lucid exp after 7 years.

I've been lurking on this site since 2006 when I discovered lucid dreaming. I finally had my first exp a few days ago. It happened during an afternoon nap, but I can't pin point exactly how I realized I was in a dream. It started at a public pool where I remember worrying about if my phone was going to fall in the water or not, because some random dream character was kicking it. I think it just spontaneously occurred to me then, that I was in a dream. The first thing I did was spawn a girl who I find incredibly attractive, which worked near flawlessly, she didn't look exactly like this girl but pretty darn close. I ended up getting intimate with her, and then things got fairly blurry. Soon after during the last part of the dream, I presume I was in bed with my eyes closed (everything was black) where I heard a beeping sound like an alarm clock, all I could really do was open my eyes and then I could see my bedroom wall and the beeping instantly stopped, scared that I had just woken up I immediately shut them and then the beeping continued however becoming increasingly more faint until totally silent, at which point I was fully awake again. It was an interesting experience, and I'm sure all the great info on this site helped me attain lucidity so thanks for that.

Note: I haven't consistently been trying to LD since 06, but I've known of the concepts/techniques since then.

Congrats on the first lucid dream!
Nap is golden time for lucid dreaming, though, why you were scared that you woken up?
Also i suggest doing reality checks each time you wake up/get out from the bed, so you can catch false awakenings and turn them lucid.
It's nice that you know some techniques, but i also suggest checking out some new tutorials, things change around bit by bit and maybe you'll find some interesting information you didn't know about: Induction Methods and Techniques

      Congratulations!
You may say I'm a dreamer.

I wasn't scared per se, only disappointed my lucid experience might have come to an end. I'll have a look through the new information on the forums, thanks a lot. =]
