What is the most amount of false awakenings you have ever had?

Title explains is all. For me, the longest streak of FAs was in the hundreds... it took place over several hours. I was lucid the whole time, but experiencing sleep paralysis inside the dream. Every time I woke up inside yet another dream, I would be in sleep paralysis yet again. Unable to use any dream controls. Slowly I would work my way out of the sleep paralysis, but still feel sluggish... as if gravity was super strong, or something. I would make it a couple steps, or maybe all the way out of my room before I would suddenly wake up, yet again in another dream. At no point did I ever manage to use any dream control. I started to get very frustrated--being stuck in a dream for so long, knowing I'm dreaming, and not even being able to move.

So... how many FAs in a row have you experienced before???

About 4 I think. The one I remember the most is when I "awoke" four times in the place I really was, got out of bed and then cycled through this. There was no lucidity.

It's not often I string FA's together directly although I do sometimes have FA's inbetween lucids and this can happen several times i.e. LD > FA with no lucidity > LD > FA with no lucidity > LD

Dude that's really intense! Sounds really aggravating! haha I've only had 1, maybe two? The one I remember most was when I had my first real lucid dream - I was talking excitedly to a girl on a bed in a house somewhere about dreaming and lucidity, and I woke up to write down the dream. At last! My first true lucid! I noticed as I was writing that I was writing in weird box like paragraphs all over the page, was like "wait..." and BAM woke up, with barely any recollection of the lucid at all! haha

Wow, not hundreds, but several. But I have to do more research into sleep paralysis because last time I looked into it I interpreted it as being fully awake but unable to move for a while. What I experienced was me starting to get out of bed then me being flat in bed all of a sudden all over again. I think it's been a pretty long time since it's happened. I remember deciding that I had never really started to physically rise from bed in real life but I'm not sure what made me decide that. Some people sleep walk so it's possible to get out of bed in your sleep, but to instantly be back in bed is different, so I guess I was flat in bed the whole time.

The last time that happened I remember testing myself once I got out of bed in my dream to see whether I'm dreaming of being out of bed or really awake. I kind of stood there and maybe closed my eyes or something to see if I'd end up back in bed and I did. I didn't know for sure I was dreaming while I was getting out of bed. I just knew I had been dreaming when I was laying down all over again. Not lucid worth a darn.

Wow, I think the most FA's I ever had was probably only two or three.

I've had only 5 so far that I've counted. Last one I recall, I got slapped awake by my brother.

I once had such a weird (yet awesome) experience with false awakening.

So I came back home from school lied on bed (my brother was at the room at the computer). I just layed on the bed to relax and fell asleep. Now the weird thing is that after a while (maybe 10-20 min has passed I dont really know how much). I just remember me there facing the wall unable to move in the same room still hearing my brother on the computer (he was playing a game) etc.. but I was unable to move or do anything just open my eyes (not sure if my eyes were really open or was it just a dream/halucination). So I was there kinda panicking I heard my dad come into the room talking to my brother (still unsure if this really happened) and I was trapped there unable to say or do anything.

I gathered my strenght finally was able to break free and went to the bathroom, washed my face then as I was opening the bathroom door again to leave everything turned black and I was again back to the bed on the same position (false awakening). I got up again thinking that was weird etc.. went to eat dinner and the same thing happened again as soon as I sat at the table I was back at my bed. This happened once again but I didnt get far only opened my door at the room. So had 3 false awakenings till I finally woke up.

Was such a weird experience but amazing at the same time. First time ever I think I was awake of being in SP. Made me fear WILD-s far less after it happened.

Once, I was taking a nap, a really long one. In a dream, my mom came and woke me up. I said, "Five more minutes." She said ok. This happened slightly differently each time like five times. When my mom woke me up I was like "Sorry I put it off so much" and she was confused. That's when I realized they were dreams.

When I was in highschool I went over to my friend's house and crashed. I woke up, sat up, and looked at my friend, it was morning. He woke up and said good morning.
Things just felt weird and boom I woke up and was like wtf (this was before I was really into dreams and didn't know what this was) that was really weird. I sat up then looked at my
friend who just woke up and said morning.....I was like wait a second... I wake up, holy crap I was still dreaming...look at friend who wakes up and i'm like are you serious I'm still dreaming...
I wake up... And this happens 10x in a row haha. I finally wake up and sat up. When my friend woke up and looked at me, I told him to shut up. haha But I was finally awake.

I had amazingly 7 in a row once. Each time I "woke up" i saw a girl on the side of my bed having sex with another girl.

The most I've had in a row is about 3-4, when I was camping in the wild out in Madagascar. What made it so confusing was that I'd never really experienced it before and I was in such a simple tent making it really realistic. I don't think I've ever been as confused as the time I finally woke up as it took a good 5 minutes to make sure I was awake :s
