What was your 1st Lucid Dream?

What was the 1st LD you had?
Also did you find your 1st LD to be like the other lucid dreams you had after that one or do you find your first lucid dream to be some what different from the rest?
I experience my 1st lucid dream in 2011 and I never had the same feeling and reactions in my other LD's. However it could be due to not knowing what lucid dreaming was as I had no idea such a thing like lucid dreaming exist. When I became lucid the first time during the experience I didn't even know I was in a dream I just knew I wasn't in waking life.

I wonder did your first LD felt different from the rest of lucid dreams you had after or did it feel the the same?

My first lucid dream was all the way back in 2006, but I still remember it rather clearly. The feeling I got from it was much the same as the lucid dreams I have nowadays, I find that there is a distinct difference that you can feel throughout your entire being compared to waking life, though it is hard to describe. Perhaps it is being able to be aware of more than just the senses coming from your body, but also the awareness of the dream physically being around you. I have become lucid before simply by noticing this feeling and then instantly knowing I was dreaming, and I think this is where techniques that focus on awareness like ADA become extremely effective.

I used a reality check in this first lucid dream, and the shock and excitement from becoming lucid for the first time was such a new and incredible experience, and made the dream somewhat unstable, but still very usable. My control and stability has gotten better over time, though in my first I still managed to fly and use pyrokinesis and set stuff on fire in my yard using my mind. I lost lucidity though when I accidentally set off a fire alarm!

I remember my 1st lucid dream because it was very much unlike the rest of them. I had mostly ridiculous nightmares of being mauled and eaten by huge demonic beasts every dream, every night. Then, randomly, I had a dream where I was standing outside, in a deserted street in the summer. Pleasantly warm, surrounded by trees and a nice blue sky. I spontaneously came to the conclusion that I was dreaming. I don't recall how I came to that conclusion. The feeling I then got was as Dark_Merlin described. It is very hard to describe... But for me, it was like tingly energy throughout my whole body, feeling very light, quick, and energetic, completely unrestricted. I thought it was cool. I think I flew around for a bit before waking up.

Pretty much all of my lucid dreams are like that. Differing in how I conclude that I'm dreaming, once I realize it, I really feel it in terms of energy in my dream body. Also, I mostly just fly around still because it's a lot of fun. No difference in intensity or anything significant for me. Although my nightmares became much less frequent after that. At least there were less dreams with demonic beasts chasing and killing me

I agree with you fully about what you said on ADA, there's a complete difference in feeling being place inside a dream than waking life. ADA makes you aware of the difference and becomes sort of like an alarm to signal that you are in a dream.
About the indescribable feeling you get when becoming lucid the dream environment could be the full cause of it and that the feeling has always been there but you only become aware of it once lucid. However another possibility is that the causes of lucidity in the change in brain waves could be a factor, when becoming lucid in a dream you are at Gamma brain waves which reports the feeling of bliss and at peace. It also describes being very over confident which I believe has been proven since people who use lucid dreaming to overcome nightmares do it easily once lucid. Wish I could I know which one causes the feeling but it doesn't really matter much as long as it happens.
Who knows maybe it's a combination of the two that causes the feeling.

Yea I think the height of the excitement and reactions only last once when it's your first time. Like anything eventually you get use to it though not implying that all other LD's can't be really exciting and new to experience, just not too mysterious/unknown anymore. It's the unknown that mostly causes that new height of excitement that there's actually more that I had no idea about or even thought was possible.
How saddening that such things are so rare to come by.

I had my first LD when I didn't know much about them.

The dream had started as a nightmare. I was being chased by a group of men at night.
I was running down this empty street, and it occurred to me that I was dreaming.
And then the wonderful feeling appeared. Just this feeling of complete peace, relaxation, control.
I wasn't anxious about the rest of the dream, wasn't scared. I was perfect.
I stopped running, and went into this small diner down the street.
I just forgot about the existence of the men, and they were gone.
I walked in and got in line to buy a pizza. The man gave me pepperoni, I used some dream control and changed it to cheese. :p
Then I walked up to the register, and decided I was going to pay with a hundred dollar bill. And then I pulled one right out of my pocket,
and told the man to keep the change. I went to sit down and saw a lonely boy making eye contact. I sat across from him and we
ate pizza and chatted. It was nice.

The following day I researched the hell out of dream control and lucid dreams, and I've been able to expand so much since.
