      Had my first Lucid dream!!!

So I just had my first lucid dream last week and it was a wild experience. No pun intended.
To be honest, it was kind of an accident. A mix of a WILD and a DILD (Dream induced?). I woke up at 3:30 and went back to sleep at 4:30. Then in a dream, I reality checked and turned lucid. It was amazing, I tried not to get to excited and ruin the dream. I did some cool stuff. But I am having trouble going lucid again. Any suggestions?

Hey, the same happened to me except I didn't do a RC, I just saw something weird and realized it was a dream, and it was during a nap! I was actually wondering HE same thing, but mine was more of a wild.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the lucid! It sounds like it was a DILD, since you were in the dream when you became lucid. That period of time you were awake during the night is basically how WBTB works, so that may have been what helped you become lucid. I'd advise checking out some of the tutorials on the forum for DILD and WBTB, starting with these:

Thank you! Though the weird things was that the reality check I did (Just looking at my hands) was not the one I have been practicing
