      Wow, that is a really interesting experience John11, it's cool that the act of blinking the first time caused such a real feeling reaction, but then it never came back since you didn't blink again.

      Hm I need to try that... always blink normally in lucids, after all I tend to blink a lot in WL, so that must be why lol

      Technically speaking in a dream you do not posess any phsyical body and thus any experience you have of blinking is a mere illusion created by the brain.

      i dont notice my blinks in real life really unless i do them. so i have never seen "dream blinks"

      lol of course its a given, I suppose everyone is referring to it as "dream body" but I can be wrong <.<

      I'm not sure if i agree with the logic here, this would be like saying that since your mind creates you running in a dream, you are always laying down in a dream regardless of whether you experience the dream sensation of standing and running. I think you can blink in a dream and you momentarily cant see what's around you, just like in real life. Since your mind is making up the blink, it could also make up the loss of vision for a split second.
