      DCs are smart

I dont know why but for some reason all of my DCs are really smart most of the time they are smarter than me
for example: once in a dream i asked my brother for advise on lucid dreaming
and he gave me some awsome and realy well thought out advice.i didnt even know most of the stuff he was telling me

another example: i met a guy in a dream who gave me this wonderful candybar scheme that was also well thought out.

All my DCs are mindless, they'll do anything I want to do when I want them to.

Can't say mine are mindless or smart, but for the most part my interactions with them have been very passive on their end. I possessed a bunnyrabbit in one, and haven't really talked to anyone else in my dreams, so....

My DCs are fairly passive for the most part, but in a dream last night, one of them tricked me out of a lucid dream. She was hot. I was distracted.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

I think our dreams, in general, have a tendency to be "smarter" than we are.

I use quotations because, technically (most likely), they are constructs of our own mind, so we already have access to anything we can possibly dream up. However, I use the term "smarter" because, being born of our subconscious, they have the ability of showing us concepts and associations from different perspectives. Dreams (and DC's) have a way of presenting things to you in an "outside of the box" perspective - things that you would never have thought about, left to your own conscious thought. This is why "sleeping on it" has been a well-established method of resolving many of life's puzzles and problems.

If I'm not in close social contact with people, their DC counterpart is generally mindless. However, their intelligence grows the more I socialize with them in real life. Unless, of course, they're my mother, in which case they say things that are surreal and completely out of place.

I could be wrong here guys but I read that during the stages of REM, the blood flow, oxygen flow, and energy levels in the brain are greatly increased. Wouldn't this explain the reasoning behind why our dream characters are so inteligent when we ask them things? There was a well known NASA scientist who claims to use dream intelligence to create many of his real life inventions.. he actually claimed to create the schematics and plans in his Ludic Dream, wake up, then write them all down and put them into actions...

Most of my DCs seem to be really stupid but some of them I can like feel they are smart and might even have a message. It's like I sense their aura or something and there's a lot of emotions going on when I meet them.

My dcs think they're smart, there was this dc and he's a real person in real life and someone who i have and probably will never meet. He said something about salt can stunt your growth. So the next day i searched on the internet and found nothing about it stunting growth, maybe someone here can find something about it but i couldn't.

lol, salt stunts your growth? Maybe there is some truth to what your dream character said. I searched it online and found that some people believe that salt water may affect plant growth. However, I am not sure, you should do an experiment where you compare the growth of a plant with no salt compared to the one with salt water.

Well it sounds funny, but If what I said earlier about our brains being much more intelligent in REM due to increased blood flow, oxygen, and energy levels.. maybe we can actually learn things from our Dream Characters. Especially if we take it a step further by expecting the dream character we come in contact with to be super intelligent and be able to answer our wildest questions... then shouldnt this dream character conjure all of the ability of the supercharged REM brain to answer some pretty astonishing questions very intelligently? That's my thinking..

Here's my hint on how to attract a smart entity:
Cause trouble, confuse DCs, have them do reality checks or tell them about lucid dreaming. That's how I attract the attention of the smarter ones who try to solve the situation, mostly by luring me away. Don't argue, just try it.

Thomas Edison used to do it. He used to sleep on a chair with a coin on his head that fell down into a bucket when his head bowed. This woke him just enough to dream lucidly.

I asked my girlfriend "who am I" once and she just went off talking about stuff I didn't get. Most of my dream characters don't make sense when they talk. I remember one time, I was trying to remember something in real-life about physiological psychology from a class and a dream character just straight up told me what it was when I dreamed about it.

My DCs like to play games with my mind. Some have awesome things to say to me, but lots of times, they say it in riddles or in a subtle, sometimes incoherent, way.

This was a task for me the other night. I tried talking to a couple of girls that were passing by and they flat out ignored me. Then I met a fellow who seemed pretty nice. Near the end of the LD he told me he was the ocean. DC's can make no sense at all sometimes. lol

Ya, but they are a part of your conscious that is not normally accessible, and possibly due to enhanced blood flow, oxygen, and energy levels in the brain during REM sleep, your DC's can be more intelligent than you.. Infact, you can be more intelligent yourself in REM Lucidity than in waking normal life.. So your DC's can easily be much more intelligent than you are used to, and be of a much different personality than you expect..

I get the feeling that my DCs are really smart, but they pretend to be stupid and rather elusive when I speak to them just to test me or play with me. It's fun to ask your DCs if they are lucid, that usually makes them look really dumb.
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.
