      Just had my first DEILD.

Just had my first DEILD this morning and I was pretty amazed at how easy it was for me. I thought it would take a few trial and errors, but when I woke up this morning from a dream, I remembered to stay very still and I was able to stay lucid as I went back into a new dream.

What amazed me was the sensation of going directly into the dream. There was no "popping" sound, but it felt like the dream sort of popped around me. Does that make sense? Not sure how to explain it, but it was very cool.

I've had lucid dreams many times, but before now, all my lucid dreams had been DILD types, so I was already in the dream when it happened. This DEILD experience was something completely new to me. I'm really blown away at how weird and exciting the sensation was to go from a waking state (or semi-waking state) right into an actual dream like that.

I credit this site and the DEILD tutorial for helping me. Thanks!

It's pretty fascinating, isn't it? It's my favourite induction technique, but also the second most difficult for me next to WILDing. Congrats.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Hey
Nice...I'm trying to get this technique, but it seems rather difficult to keep my eyes closed when I wake up...You've inspired me to try again,haha...

The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..

I've finally found the perfect alarm. It goes off for a minute and stops. I felt SP, but I couldn't go back to sleep because people were shouting outside. I think someone like stole my neighbors car at 4 in the morning.. I never liked my neighbors anyway...

ClearView, what's the name of that alarm? I would like to get an alarm and try this technique more often.
I was thinking of using a headband and putting my cellphone in the headband on vibrate, so when the vibrate alarm goes off, it vibrates my head and wakes me up, but not too much.

I'm always worried I will fail, and lose the memory of my last dream. It is hard to make that split second risk assessment when I'm all groggy and half awake.
