That's a fabulous result for just one month of practice, *keep it up*. You want to rack up those lucid minutes, as you do, your brain will get more and more familiar with entering and remaining in...

Yes I also frequently encounter "new supplement insomnia," which I think is excitement-based. Probably combined with the fact that most "vivid dream" producing supplements work by stimulating the...

Are you sure the 5-HTP caused insomnia? Could it have just been from excitement at trying something new? Try it a few more times - not in a row of course, wait a few days or a week in between to let...

Freak12 liked post by FryingMan On thread : When to take vitamin b6?
How much melatonin? There is no consensus on it. General wisdom is that if you replace something the body manufactures itself from supplements, the body stops supplying it naturally making you...

Did you jump straight to 300mg of b6? You should experiment with different amounts I have heard between 100-500 mg I usually have 200 mg prebed 3 times a week and I can go to sleep fine and if you...

I take a multivitaminic complex which has b6, but nothing near that amount. For me, the best time to take it is in the afternoon or early evening (it's 6.30 pm here now, so I'll take it soon). I once...

Did you experience any increased vividness or recall with the B6? How much melatonin did you take and when? Took 5-HTP for the 2nd or 3rd time last night hoping for rebound and vivid dreams in...

Thats a lot of B6! Sometimes B6 will make you feel active. I usually take B6 @ wbtb not prebed. Prebed is fine but try cutting the dose to 50-100mg.ive also had great results with just melatonin @...

I also had a lot of wakefulness with my one time of 100mg B6 (I tried 50mg before that and didn't notice too much wakefulness). Note that sometimes the *best* dreams come after a long wakeful...

Freak12 liked post by LucidSage On thread : Has anyone tried the "Lucid Dreams" pill sold on amazon?
Sageous made the most important point. Supplements, if they work at all, work by increasing your chances (through various effects on sleep, brain chemistry etc') to become lucid, not by causing or...

You won't have much time? Do not fall for that mindset. You will fall asleep at least 1 time every day. If you wake up for any reason, you get to fall asleep again. Practice holding a mantra in your...

^^ and to put an exclamation point on what the last two guys said, these pills are only aids for lucid dreaming; they do not cause LD's, regardless of what their ad copy might profess. In other...

Lucid dreaming is a skill like any other (i.e. takes time to master). There is no magic pill. You wouldn't take a pill to learn how to play the piano now would you? :P

I totally agree. Most people here will not reach the level of proficiency that we all yearn for, those that do persevere will usually take decades to master the art. It truly is an entire change...

I really don't think you should start spending money on dubious pills after only 2 weeks of training. There are people who practice for 6 months with no lucid dreams before starting to get results....
