Sometimes I think I remember something while awake and then realise it was a dream I did it in, usually happens only after extremely vivid dreams.

LouaiB liked post by Memm On thread : Prospective Memory Importance
Pretty much what LaBerge ended up with in his MILD method basically. Also mindfulness is linked to prospective memory (or just any memory) and recall, so yeah, more or less, I agree. There are...

Day 30: I was planning on repeating day 27 today but unfortunately I was pretty tired and couldn't keep my concentration up and fell asleep, easily fixed by staying up a bit longer in the future....

sleepingSYNAPSE liked post by Memm On thread : How MILD Really Works
Introduction Hello everyone! For the past couple of years I have been studying mnemotechnics which, on the surface, is about using memory techniques to enhance memorisation and recall. Going...

LouaiB liked post by Memm On thread : How do you get deeper?
I think you just need to let go and be more involved in the dream, normally after we realise that it's a dream we go from "we're in a dream" to a "I'm dreaming" mentality, meaning that before we were...

That associated words game is a pretty cool way of showing off the associative power of the brain, what makes it interesting is the lack of imagery so it relies fully on what kind of words you have...

Correlation doesn't imply causation. I believe that if you spend a lot of time without results then either a) you're not doing something right or b) the method is faulty. I'm quite certain that...

I feel there's a problem with the word "habit" we tend to use everywhere because plenty of habits don't make their way into dreams. Dreams themselves seem to be combined from "significant" events...

I'm not sure that "loss of self-reflection" is quite correct, at least in my dreams I have noticed that what I lose is mindfulness. Basically when you start talking to somebody and then 20 minutes...
