Hahahahaha, well I wouldn't care to waste my time with that, not that they don't deserve it, all Religions are corrupt, so it's a fair desire x)

Religious discussion belongs in the Religion/Spirituality forum, no exceptions.

You can talk about it now. This is now the spiritual forum because people wouldn't stop talking about that instead of lucid dreaming.

That's why I moved it to where you can talk religion to your heart's content.

I myself am a iffy on lucid dreaming but I understand am just a newbie and have a long way to go.

I read that book. Definitely the most interesting lucid dreaming book out there for those interested in psychology (though I don't necessarily agree with his theories.) I tried some of his experiments and got some pretty interesting results.

Bit of thread necromancy here but I feel compelled to point this out because no one else did:

Two foundational precepts of science are that every effect has a cause, and that every cause is a natural one. Science doesn't deal with the supernatural, by definition. If you admit of the idea that demons, goblins, gods and fairies exist and can influence your experiment then you can never trust your results ever again. This is why science doesn't accept the notion of God. It would invalidate the entire enterprise.

However this doesn't mean that individual scientists can't believe in God. Kenneth Miller is a good example, a devout Catholic. But he leaves his religion at the door when he steps into the lab. People who don't leave their religion at the door and therefore let it interfere with their work are intelligent design advocates, and creationists (who aren't doing real science anyway).
