Noogah, I am not saying this to be mean. I am saying it because you need to be aware of it... You don't know what you are talking about. You need to really understand what the theory of evolution is before you argue against it. I get the impression that everything you know about the theory is stuff you got from religious people arguing against it. Evolution does not happen because of single cell mutations in organisms' bodies. The significant change isn't in just a skin cell on your right middle toe. Evolution results from mutation of DNA. An organism's DNA is its reproductive blue print. A change in DNA affects the major anatomy of offspring, not just one cell.

uv, I don't know what possibly more I could learn about the theory. I believe you are referring to biology. Up until now, most of what I've said about th theory has been accurate, however my knowledge on human biology is elementary right now.

Noogah, you're young. I am not going to use that against you or something, but I want you to realize that I am worried you will make a major mistake.

If you rely only on precisely what you can see and experience, do not forget that your senses are significantly flawed in many ways. See my thread on "Experience and your Unreliable Consciousness" to see how experience, and even your own thoughts, can mislead you into believing things that are not real.

More importantly, be open to question things and be prepared to admit you are wrong about something.

The majority of your posts are not disproving anything but defending yourself.

No wonder you feel stressed. You're not actually debating anyone, you're just explaining yourself and trying to defend yourself. Try actually looking at the points explicitly. Truthfully, you haven't really done that yet at all.

You may feel that you have, but what I mean is that there's a difference in explaining your beliefs and justifying them. All you have done is explained them. When you explain something, it does not mean it is true or not, it's just an explanation.

Even you must admit you have not actually justified anything because even you admit you cannot prove your beliefs.

What I find disrespectful though, is that I have given you justifications and proofs (as well as many other people) and you flat out ignore them.

I think that if you spent as much time as you did defending yourself as to being insightful, you'd feel a lot less stressed.

That really is a pattern here. I have said before that it is as if the same person keeps coming here with different screen names and going through the same process. The pattern keeps getting repeated.

1. Make first post in the Religion forum a wild claim about being able to prove something about God and offering to answer questions.
2. Dodge the questions that come.
3. Get called out on dodging.
4. Say something important is coming up and interfering with ability to take the time to post here.
5. Post in a bunch of other threads any way.
6. Come back to threads with stump questions and pretend to not remember the questions.
7. Get asked stump questions again.
8. Leave site for months or years.
9. Come back and act like stump questions were never asked.
10. Get asked stump questions again.
11. Leave for good.

I really like that this can be seen from a middle ground that is critical of all perspectives. Materialists can say to theists/spiritualists, "If god came from nothing, then the universe could have come from nothing." But the theist can also use it as the reverse, "If it is logical for the universe to come from nothing, why must there be a reason for god?"

Which is why it makes no sense to argue over God Vs. The Big Bang instead we should argue over certian definitive pieces of sience or dogma that concern the subject.
