Lucid dream characters survey

Hello! I am a high school student in a class called AP Research. For this class I decided to pursue the topic of lucid dreaming. My guiding question for my research is "To what extent do interactions with lucid dream characters differ over time and between different skill levels of lucid dreamers?". I am looking for participants to take a survey to help me answer this question. It would be great if I could get 20-30 responses! To qualify to take the survey, you need to be a lucid dreamer of any skill level (must have had at least two lucid dreams though), be between the ages of 18+, and be living in the U.S. This survey should not take more than 20 minutes at most, it just depends on the level of thought and detail you put into your answers. No offense OP, but why the age restriction? We have so many great lucid dreamers over 25 here. And you'd get the best responses from them - they are often highly skilled and lots more experience. Just sayin.

Hi! Thank you for asking a great question! The reason I put on an age range is specifically because of my AP Research class. An important part of writing the research question for this class specifically is making sure your question is not too broad. I put that age range in place (and made this study specifically for those in the U.S) to gather information on a smaller group of people so my question is not too broad. Another big reason for that is if I put a larger age range, based on the number of responses I am getting right now, I would not be gathering enough responses to correctly represent that group of lucid dreamers. If this was my own personal research, I would have definitely increased the age range. However, for my reasoning above, that's why I decided not to.

I suggest this because the question involving dream characters evolving is a bit of an advanced concept. Young lucid dreamers often focus on seeking pleasure and avoiding pain in lucid dreams. Many don't often spend a lot of time talking with purpose to dream characters, or investigating the nature of the dream. Of course there are exceptions. But, I think you may have more success with this sort of thing with an older group, such as 30-50, a nice solid "adult" age range. They also just have more lucid experiences to pull from. I've actually decided to change the age limit to just 18+ (I am currently waiting on getting my original post edited to show this change). I figured that I would rather has a couple points taken off for too broad of a topic instead of not being able to get any data since I've only gotten 2 replies with my current age range. So if you are interested, feel free to take the survey if you would like and to anyone else reading this, you can ignore the age limit of 18-25 as it will just be 18+ from now on. I wanted to share a quote with you - it talks about your topic and gives great insight, I think. Also.. I don't know, but it might not be a bad thing to add to your research paper.
