Lucid Dreaming Sex: Effects on Waking Sexual Experience

      Hello,

Have your sexual experiences while lucid dreaming had any impact on your sex life while awake? This is an open ended question, but here are some examples of what I am interested in:

-How does lucid sex compare to waking sex in terms of physical sensation? Has real sex become more or less pleasurable after engaging in the lucid variety?
-If you are in a monogamous relationship, do you have lucid sex with other partners? Has this affected your interest in sexual activity with your current partner?
-Does having more lucid sex affect the amount of waking sex you have?
-Anything else you might have to say!

      Thanks for your input!

      Yes please! Haha

My first introduction to sex was in a nonlucid dream.
The physical sensation in waking life was pretty good : D But only after I experienced a WOW moment in a dream, I started to have same intense WOWs in WL. I find that puzzling, but not complaining : D.

Hi and thanks for the good topic.
Lucid sex compared to IWL sex? Lucid sex can be frustrating. I often run into the problem of sexual dreams destabilizing so the visuals degrade. I have to then stop and focus on a small detail to stay in the dream. Another frustration is the crossover between the actions of your waking body and dream body. I am convinced that my real body kind of thrusts into the mattress and that sensation makes the dream sex poor. That is because there seems to be no penetration in the dream since my body in life is running into an obstacle. When everything goes right, I can enjoy dream sex enough to experience a good dream orgasm. They are real enough that I have to check my shorts in case my body also finished. My body does not, but in the dream I get all the dopamine rush like real life orgasms.
I am in a long term monogamous relationship. I have sex with other people in my lucids all the time. She was angry and jealous about that at first, but soon told me that she had decided it was not cheating and to do anything in dream land. It has not at all effected my relationship in life at all. I am still very attracted to my wife.
Lucid sex seems to have no relationship to my waking sex drive.

i like this topic very much when I'm lucid i have sex with monsters demons angels devils nd god when I'm reality i stare a lot of porn and both are very satisfying yet jus to attain a orgasm make me mad a frustrated i could be in a dream where I'm having sex for hours and yet i can never attain a full blown release when I'm in waking life i get the release but then i get depraved of myself because i want to do the same thing to her when she such a succubus to someone else->-<

Very interesting comments, everyone. Thank you for your input!

Sivason, you mentioned that there has been no change to your waking sex drive, and that you are still very attracted to your wife. Although it sounds like your overall desire for sex is the same, does having lucid sex with partners other than your wife affect your attraction to other people in waking life? Do thoughts of sex with others become more common or more intense, even if you would never actually act on them? Or perhaps these thoughts are less intense or less frequent because you have an outlet for them in your dreams. Or maybe no change at all?

Gab, that is actually so interesting that lucid sex has improved waking sex for you. I never really would have considered that.

DemiDevil, you certainly have some interesting dream sex. I am not sure I fully follow your line of thought regarding the succubus girlfriend
