YES! Seriously, it makes them look like they have dwarf legs on full-sized torsos. Guys' bums are too cute for baggy jeans anyway |

Those big stupid goggle sunglasses. |
|
These !@#$ing things. I can't stand them! |

What's fashion? Is that the thing for people who don't like bands? |
|
I defintely agree about the boots. I kind of agree for the shades but glasses are a funny thing, like those Buddy Holly type glasses that have come back from the 50's but were uncool inbetween. I really like those. |

Crocs, beanies (which are already out of style but not yet cringe-worthy throughout the West), everyone wearing a hoodie/baggy jeans (we will look like a homeless generation). |

Prepare yourselves for... the future!! |

It might just be where I live, or maybe just my college, but I've been noticing a lot of Asian girls wearing tight jeans or opaque leggings with really short skirts. That was mostly last year, but I still see it this year, even when the weather is really cold. |

Yeah, being 'cool' or 'fashionable' is really time dependent. For example, there was a time when it was fashionable for men to wear corsets! Also, in Europe, tight pants are the norm. Not like Jeggings, but tighter than the usual casual jeans here in the US. There was a time where men would have tight leggings to show off the calf. |

I think that's part of the emergence of a new fashion trend, definitely! Thanks to "hipster" culture (which is always on or a little before the cutting edge of trends), things that are "hip" become "cool/popular" soon after. There was a time when being a skater was "hip" and then we saw that become cool, and now it's phasing out. (It's similar to the genre cycle of books and movies, vampires were "hip", became "cool", become overexposed, get spoofed, and die out, and then return decades later as "hip" again.) |

Hasn't the emo trend died out? I don't see anyone dressed like that anymore. |
|
I think it's still going on in high schools; dyed hair and black clothes never dies out, it's just what they call it that changes. Punk, Goth, Emo, etc. Pretty much just a change in what music they listen to, and how they style their hair (also how they accessorize their black clothes and dyed hair.) Seems to have evolved. |
|
We have many "scene" kids around here, too. Just like goths and emos, as they age they "get over it." One of my friends was EXTREMELY scene (she would even SLEEP in her black and pink leather; her hair was always dyed and teased, and she went everywhere in boots.) but then she grew up. |
|
I shouldn't put these guys down, though. I was into break dancing, then hairbands while growing up in the 80's. I'm sure that look would furl a few brows now days. |

Oversized baseball hats worn in awkward positions |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
Supernova, I agree about that music. the only word I could decipher was 'smile' and I'm even sure if that is really what it was. point is, the lyrics go out the window as soon as the singer starts screaming like that. |
