Lightbulb WILD - Floating body in the dream world = Scared!! :(

      Guys,

I have a question and maybe with your long term experience & knowledge I can solve this fear issue in my Lucid Dream attempts.

I never had one, but I think I got very close 2 times but due to fear I left the dream world.

In 2 times, by trying WILD technique, I suddenly went black, started feeling a strong vibration in my head and saw my self floating, but the scary thing is that I was in the complete dark and I didnt have control of the floating situation, I was being dragged out by an external force.

For I didnt know where this force was taking me, I started feeling scared and decided to wake up.

      Questions:

Through your experiences, do you have an idea what should I do and where is this floating leading me??

      Is it normal?

Would it help to make my room a little bit brighter? Maybe my mind is creationg this dark because I actually sleep completely in the dark.

Thank you so much for your attention,

Well yea, Im not so "pro" but I could say that just dont be afraid. Next time see where you end up when the force drags you.
The floating might be taking you to the dream.
And everyone is unique, so the floating is probably normal.

And remember its all in your head its not really happening to you.

Sounds like the part right before you transition into an LD. Try this again but don't wake yourself up.

Yea this sounds a lot like one of my first successes with WILDing. I was trying to WILD and then I just floated out of my body perpendicular to my sleeping body and my arms were pulled upwards. I was just floating there with my arms out like I was on a cross, but it was completely dark. I thought opening my eyes would be a good idea, but when I did that I opened my real eyes and could see my room but everything was shaking violently. After a couple seconds I woke up completely.
The more you do it the less scary it gets, I was a little freaked out early on too even though I knew what was going on. Being told what SP is like and actually going through it are two different things.
Next time this happens just remain calm and maybe try to move around or spin your entire body. I find a lot of my WILDs start out with no visuals and I can only feel my body. If you can start moving around and feeling your dream body/environment the visuals will eventually begin to appear.
Good luck! You've completed the first(and hardest) step, a real WILD is just around the corner!

Any time something scary happens, accept it and love it, and it will turn into something pleasant on its own. I once had a DILD where I found this ugly, deformed looking child, and it was kind of unsettling, but then I remembered to face her and love her unconditionally. I hugged her and said nice things to her, and when I pulled away from the hug I saw a very pretty girl looking at me.

Remember, you have the power whenever you're dreaming, so have confidence and accept the nature of the dream.
