      Anyone else?

Never WILD'd succesful so far, but sometimes I do get numbness everywhere. At this point sometimes in my head i think about an itch and without even doing it my arm picks up, like I didn't even move it but my thoughts did. Has this happened to you guys?

I think that's just your mind testing your body to see if it's asleep. If you resist the urge to move, scratch, or whatever, I think you will fall asleep consciously. I've been trying this reverse blinking and it relaxes my body to the point where I start to feel things crawling on me, but when I sit through it I start to get imagery and visions. I've been interrupted though, so I haven't been through it fully.

Reverse blinking is just opening your eyes and closing them really fast right? and what is the point of it

if i have like an itch or something or just want to move and resist trying to move my heart starts to race and i get very anxious which makes me struggle to fall asleep :/
i think best way to try an WILD is to just train your self to recodnise when you're getting into SP without thinking about it
you have to let your mind go on idle gear and just have random thoughts and forget about your body , when you start to go into SP and into a dream you will get a specific sensation
i for one start to feel like either flying forward very fast or vibrating and i hear a loud pusating white noise in my ears this alerts me that i'm entering a dream

Reverse Blinking should be used to get yourself relaxed and tired. It is basically a relaxation technique. It is good to use as you first lay down during your WILD attempt. Once you start to get the numbing sensations or feel super tired, its best to stop RB and continue with the WILDing process. It sounds like your arms moving on their own could have been HH (hypnagogic hallucination). Just continue to relax when you get any strange hallucinations and just act like nothing unusual is going on.

I hate those itches. Torture! I normally just scratch them and then return to whatever I was doing. They don't seem to interrupt things too much. I get right back to where I was in a few more seconds.

Usually I don't have itches, and my problem isn't laying still for 30 minutes its focusing too much. Whenever I try to WILD I can't fall asleep, but when I give up just go to bed, I can fall asleep. Its wierd. I tried WBTB with a WILD today and over did it, causing myself to be up for 3 hours. But I did have 3 lucids afterwards.

I don't use Reverse Blinking to help induce lucid dreams, although it helped me move a step up. I have troubles falling asleep, so it's really helping. Not to get off topic. The arm thing is weird though. I'd just keep doing what you're doing and if it happens more often then maybe try something else. It was probably just a twitch, happens to me a lot. Like full body twitches, but I've never really been conscious of it til I'm practically already asleep.

My main problem is twitching, stopping myselft from itching just requires a lil will power not to scratch for ten seconds then the itch just nags a little.

Don't know how someone would stop themselves from twitching though since you can't really control a twitch.

Like RB suggested, just going ahead and scratching an itch is often times better than leaving it. If you are able to ignore them, then that is great. If you keep thinking about the itch and can't seem to shake it, it can very well keep you from being able to successfully transition. I just gently scratch the itch and return to the process as if I had never moved at all.

As for twitching, you can't really control that at all. Just allow yourself to twitch and don't think twice about it. Know that once your body starts those twitches, you are getting close to sleep paralysis.

Thanks for the advice to all but, it got a little off topic. Itches don't bother me I can tell my mind to let it go and it will, but I was just saying its strange how when I thought about lifting my arm it worked, without even actually lifting it. But yeah I do get twitches and they seem to ruin the numbness for me when it happens.

Well, it is very possible that the arm lift was actually just another hallucination. These hallucinations can seem extremely real at times. With the twitches, you really just have to ignore them and act as if they never happened. Even if the numbness fades, you can get it right back as long as you don't focus too much on the twitching.

Yoshi I got my first WILD today at around 7am. When i got into the dream i had barely any control and it was very blurry. But the wierd thing is That at one point It was happening in one eye and the other eye i was awake. So i was half in my dream, half not. I read about this before, pretty crazy.
