Hi, so I'm new here. Apparently I've been lucid dreaming my whole life, but I'm not quite sure about the methods.
My understanding is that a DILD is when you are already in a dream, realize something is strange, then realize you are dreaming. This does happen to me sometimes, more often when I was younger than now.
Now, however, I don't enter lucids this way as often. I wouldn't say I maintain consciousness from the time I fall asleep, I am completely unaware of myself/my dream state for the majority of my sleep. However, once I begin a dream, I will immediately become lucid, no realization required, it will just be understood by me from the beginning of the dream that I am dreaming. Is this a WILD? It's weird because I don't wake up or anything, at least not that I'm aware of, but I also don't have a "realization" that I am dreaming. I am simply aware from the beginning of the dream that I am dreaming. This is how most of my lucid dreams are nowadays, I had three dreams like this in a row this weekend (I usually lucid dream on weekends when I can sleep in).
So is this WILD? Or something else?
