a problem with wilds, any tips appreciated.

So anyhow I have been trying to do some wilds. My main problem is swallowing. The furthest I have gotten was seeing some complex black and white images, i think i saw an outline of Abraham Lincoln's face, kinda weird, almost made me laugh. But yea, any tips on how to avoid swallowing, i do it about once every 2-4 mins i guess. I have tried to concentrate on the images, breathing through the nose, day dreaming. Any tips on how to swallow are appreciated. I usually wild on my bed with 1 pillow behind my head, while laying on my back.

Just swallow. It won't have any effect. When you wild your main goal is to reach the state where your mind starts wondering. When you lose your counsciousness and achieve it again. When you fall asleep for few seconds and wake up immediately. Only way to reach this state is not to think a lot and lay comfortably. I had few wilds like this and I guarantee you that swallowing is nothing.
      My opinion:
*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.

Yeah don't over-complicate it, just do the things you would do when naturally falling asleep. If swallowing is one of those it shouldn't be a problem when WILDing.

Try different positions you don't have to lay on your back, try laying on your side or on your stomach. I've had HH, HI, vibrations, and everything laying on my sides and stomach.

(Weird I'm talking about positions on my 69th post :p)

The issue isn't so much about swallowing or doing calculus homework in your bed while trying to enter SP. The issue is "focus". Remember this "Energy goes where attention floes". If you find that the issue of swallowing itself is monopolizing your focus and attention then THAT itself will pull you from the brink of the mind awake/body asleep state by resetting your internal timer. While swallowing every 2 seconds isn't necessarily good, it's better to get it over with than be in a "swallow or not to swallow!?!?" hell hole. I address many issues and offer insights and tips that's helped thousands of users have their first WILD and succession of WILD's in this thread. The swallowing problem is addressed in detail as well.
