WILDing is really co-dependent on the person. There are techniques all over the place but you have to do trial and error to find out what works for you. Just read up on all the different techniques and get the basics. |

Yeah, just try whatever technique you think you will be most comfortable with. It is a really good idea to have your alarm out of arms reach. That way you won't be tempted to just turn it off mindlessly and go back to sleep. I suggest setting the alarm several time throughout the night, so you get more than one chance at it. I like to set mine for after 4 hours of sleep, after 6 hours, and after 8 hours. Good luck to you and stay confident. Expect to succeed and you will |

Well, it happens because you have spent your whole life losing consciousness and falling asleep normally. It takes some practice to break that habit. If you find yourself laying awake for long periods of time, you simply aren't falling asleep. You really want to tiptoe the line between consciousness and unconsciousness. Its not an easy thing to do if you don't have much experience with it. Just keep practicing and build your experience. Try to learn from each attempt and don't get frustrated, you are not alone. |
