The problem with WILD for me

So I have succesfully performed a WILD but, while very effective, when I wake up at x o'clock in the morning to wild I just don't have the patience for doing the whole tricking yourself to sleep part, and what I mean by that is in the wiki section for wild it says to lay on your back and breathe In and count upwards in your mind and breathe out and think "I'm dreaming" but the effects of the wild dont kick in until about 120 counts then my pulse starts to speed up and the wild works. (i don't know how understandable I made that) however because I'm so tired I just don't have patience to do this proper mindset thing. Which would then lead me to just letting my mind wander and falling asleep. Maybe I'm not staying up long enough in between waking up and going back to bed or what but something is wrong, what is it?( is this in the wrong forum?)

Oh and another problem I am having, when I'm going into sleep paralysis I get stuck there for until I give up (a really long time) and when I get up I feel lime my whole body was successfully "paralyzed" except for the muscles around my head. Help?

Well, I would suggest staying up for longer periods of time. There really isn't much to say about your motivation and patience. You will just have to make yourself do it .

Also, your head tends to be the last part of the body that enters paralysis. Just continue with the process and once SP sets in, relax. Act like nothing different or unusual is happening and continue your technique. Keep in mind that the whole idea is to fall asleep. If you are over-thinking or trying too hard, you aren't allowing yourself to fall asleep. Just stay calm and relaxed.
