I can "achieve" sleep paralysis at will. I could do this long before I found out about lucid dreaming and the role SP plays in it. |

When you say hallucinations, you mean closed-eye hallucinations, right? Assuming they are, then what you want to do is focus on the hallucinations as much as you can. Try to imagine your other senses being engaged. So for example, if you're seeing a dog, also try to imagine what the dog feels like when you pet it, or the sounds it makes, etc. If you do this long enough (depending on practice, it may be only a few seconds), the dream will wrap around you and then you're done. |

If you're truely in SP, you shouldn't even need to ask (unless your scared to death and can't keep aware/focused). When I am consciously aware of the fact that I'm in SP, whether that be from a WILD or DEILD, all I do is try to remain still, keep my eyes closed and not think to hardly about ANYTHING. I never have to imagine a dream scene and imagine myself moving around or anything most of the time, because usually the dream just comes on by itself. If I am really aware consciously, then I usually end up in a variation of my bedroom, and I get up RC, and enter the LD. Some people use the imagining the dream scene technique, but for now I would recommend you get into SP, and stay in it for about a minute, the dream should come on by itself. |

well, the hallucinations are typical sp-hallucinations, like a creepy man sitting in the corner of the bedroom, invisible hands moving me around, sense of dread, good stuff like that. I cannot imagine moving around or petting the old man, because I am paralyzed. |

If you have hallucinations, that means you are in a lucid dream. A lucid dream, which started with you imprisonned in your body, because you expected it to be so. Relaxing yourbody till it gets numb gave your mind a signal saying: hey.. You know what? Lets prepare a dream scene just like the real one, because the consciousness was extremely occupied with getting body numb, so it is probably the thing it wants to dream about. Oh and it didnt want to move, so lets paralyse the dream body too. And it felt a little insecure so lets put some scary metaphors, tofullfil the conscious desire to the last detail. |

I'm a natural too, and have also only recently learned how to transition into a LD. What I learned is the use of an awareness anchor. To me, it's a particular fantasy I think of before dosing off. It's the same one every time. It's almost like a daydream; you're daydreaming, but if someone were to poke you, you'd feel it anyway. Daydreaming is in that sense sort of an in-between state. I use this daydream to take my mind off the SP and its effects, but I'm still aware of them being there. But they're not my main focus. My focus is on my fantasy 70% and 30% on SP. When I become aware that the SP vibrations have stopped, I know I can let go of the fantasy (or turn it into a dream, but I'd rather not, that would defeat its purpose as an anchor), and into my dream-room I wake up |
