Can perform WILD, but only after I decide not to

The other night I tried the WILD technique and did go to SP, or at least it felt like it and did see some image patterns but did not go into Lucid Dreaming. Then after a couple of hours I decided that I should simply get some sleep and then what do you know but very shortly after putting my head down to go to sleep I went into Lucid dreaming from wake state when I was not intending to, my body just did it for me. I had the feeling of falling of the bed and also the buzzing in the ears.

So there it is seems like I can do WILD but can only do it when not trying to.

It's not necessarily when you don't want to. It probably has more to do with the fact that when you're going to sleep normally, you relax naturally and slip into your dream cycles. If you're paying too much attention to what you're doing and feeling, you will most likely not WILD well.
We were always dreaming of how it was going to be.

Yep, sad thing is it is kind of a learned meditative skill. You need to stay aware, but if you are very aware you will have problems. You are trying to trick the body into sleeping before the mind does. Your body will not pass off into sleep if you are having much mental stimuli.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.
