I think I know what you mean about that feeling of being taller. I get strange hallucinations, like this, during WILD. I call them Body Distortions. Sometimes my head will feel like it is inflating, or my body will feel like it is bending or growing, or shrinking. It is a strange feeling. What you are describing doesn't sound like sleep paralysis. It just sounds like deep relaxation. Sleep paralysis is almost always very physical and disturbing. You can't miss it.
What were your thoughts like when this was happening? Even if you didn't see any imagery, were you experiencing any wandering thoughts? Getting lost in little scenarios that seemed to come from nowhere?
If you feel like you are close, but don't have anything to lead you into the dream, try creating your own scenario. Imagine something that comes to mind easily, such as recent memory in a familiar place. You want it to be something physical and repetitive that will engage your sense of touch or motion. Imagine yourself doing something like walking through your house, touching doorknobs, or running down your street following your morning commute. The idea is to transfer your attention away from your body in bed, and into this new dream scenario. Make it feel as real as possible. Once you get the scenario rolling, it should snowball into a full dream.
