      Wild with Naps polyphasic

I was thinking of trying out WILD with my new polyphasic sleep schedule. I sleep for 90 minutes three times a day.

      5:30 AM-7:00 AM
      3:30 PM-5:00 PM
      10:30 PM-12:00 AM

I'm not sure if these will go straight into REM or how long they will take. Do you think it would be worth trying to use these as 'naps' to WILD into? Or some other technique for this sleep schedule? Awareness+Mild is my other option I suppose.

Why did you choose this schedule? Naps should be 30 minutes long at most. You need either more naps during day (4 or much better 6) or add a longer core sleep (3 hours long with 3 20 min naps).

It's called triphasic, it's a real schedule and it's worked for people before. Just not sure how dreams and REM work with it.

I understand. With usual polyphasic schedules you enter REM immediately. I am afraid you will you start normal sleep cycle each "nap". However it is good you try it. Tell us how it works then.

I don't really know exactly how effective it could be. I have heard that you can go straight into REM with those kind of scheduled but never personally heard if it actually works well. Best thing to do is to just try it and see how it works for your self. I'd love to see your results too.

Something of interest to this, last night I went to sleep at 5:30 AM, I went straight into a dream and what happened in it caused me to jolt awake (getting touched by invisible things lol). I checked the clock and it was only 5:50 AM. 20 minutes after I layed down in my bed. So 10-15 minutes into my sleep I finished a dream. Looks like REM is early enough for me to try WILD.

If I'm sleeping like this, should I allow myself some more time to complete the wild. Lay down 10 or 20 minutes early since it takes longer, I can't lose too much sleep when it is this tight.

Have achieved SP with mild HI previously, haven't attempted much in the past.
