Why do i get this feeling

When i try using WILD this is what happens, when i try and get myself into sleep paralysis my left arm and its always this one, the feeling i have in my arm is that its been turned round so my palm is facing up, i know im not in sleep paralysis because i can move myself when this happens but is this a sign that its happening.

When are you trying to WILD? The hypnagogia may present itself in many forms, sensations of any kind, sound and/or visuals.

Hi, I gree with Matte87. Hypnagogic hallucinations can be visual, auditory, tactile, etc. Also, that stage where you are starting to feel sensations is not sleep paralysis. They're just normal bodily sensations you get to notice since your body is falling asleep and you are aware of it. In any case, it is encouraged not to focus and think about the sensations because the more you dwell on the physical aspects of WILD, the harder it will be to enter the mental aspect and the dream.

      Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

When you feel any part of your body in different position than you remember leaving it, it's your dream body already separated at that place. And you don't need SP to WILD. In fact, if you never had SP before, waiting for it or trying to induce will hamper your WILD attempt.
