      help with WILD?

      Hey guys, sramsay12 here.
Those of you who know me know that I used to have natural DILDs all the time, and recently, not so much. I have, however, realised that every night for the past two months I have made a WILD attempt- and failed.
To clarify, I've had two DEILDs- straight after each other- and one CANWILD, a DEILD with an alarm. this strangely worked for me the first time but never again.
      I have experienced SP once.
I've decided I want to try and WILD every night as I just find it more interesting and because DILD largely revolves around luck.
I have a 45-minute Lucid Dreaming isochronic tone from The Unexplainable Store, which I bought three days ago. Using it last night nearly got me lucid- I did a reality check out of curiosity as the dream was quite strange, but it didn't work. (Nose plug RC). This is twice now that an RC has not worked, so now I'm going for WILD.

The isochronic tone helps me relax, but I have one large problem- I fall asleep.
Now I now, Mzzkc and other users say that falling asleep is the purpose of WILD, which is true, but only if you remain conscious. I just can't remain conscious during WILDs. The near-lucid I got last night was from lying completely still which telling myself "I am dreaming", hoping that even if I fell asleep the mantra would be the last thing I thought about, giving me a MILD.

So, does anyone have any tips for staying aware during a WILD attempt? I'm trying not to "wait" for SP and I know that SP doesn't always happen, but I am irritated that I can't get far enough to have a lucid.

Also, can I WILD during a nap? Say, I'm bored so I might go to bed listening to the isochronic tone and stay still, I'd normally fall asleep so surely this is a WILD opportunity? How would I implement WILD into this?

Thank you all for any help or advice!

You can WILD during a nap, if it's not too close to your normal bed time. For me it works the best 1-3 hours after I wake up in the morning, but some people report success during afternoon nap too.

Can't really tell from your post, but it sounds like you are attempting before bedtime? Without any prior sleep? If so, then there is your problem. WILD is best used with WBTB after some hours of sleep.

      WILD (sageous) Good luck.
