      just not working...

I'm having an odd problem... I try wilding at least once a night. It never works. I relax, last night relaxed so fully I felt like I was in a trance. Music helps me with this.
I've noticed that abstaining from sexual activity makes me more likely to have sexual dreams, which I should be able to use as a dream sign..
But for wilding, it just doesn't work. Last night I had the second nightmare in a week, and I almost never had nightmares as a previous LD natural. I had one a few days ago and was excited as it's a ticket to dilds and deilds for me, as they end with someone screaming every time, and my heartbeat thuds in my ears. I immediately realise I'm dreaming and wake up. So last night I tried to deild.. with horrifying results.
My arm moved itself across my chest, and kept moving, preventing me from deilding. I heard my subconscious speak in the familiar demonic voice, and regained control of my body, at the cost of my relaxed state.
My subconscious alternates between a mocking, albeit cheerful friendliness and pure evil, it seems...

Are you sure it wasn't your dream arm moving?

As gab said, it could have been dream body, false awakenings for some people can start with dream eyes closed and that could have been the case, i have experienced those myself.

Hmm, I guess it's possible.. I remember thinking something about a false awakening but I don't think it was that incident, I had a really weird night. Anyway, last night I got close. I listened to music until I felt really relaxed and turned it off and tried to wild.
My HH went from psychedelic hands and stuff to black and white extreme complex 3d patterns and then clear images as if I'd nearly entered a dream, I ended up falling asleep unconsciously though. I think the technique I was using was imagining myself in the dreamscape and feeling the ground, etc. As this worked for me before. I tried using fild as well. I think I'll manage a wild tonight
