Visualizing works. Another technique that I used just this morning is the 'reach out and grab something' method, which involves just imagining you're touching a wall or a chair or something. Specifically, recreate the feeling in your imaginary fingertips of touching something. It's very easy to do, even when you're awake. You might want to practice this a few times before your WILD. Anyway, if you persist with the tactile fantasy for more than a few seconds (in the hypnagogic state, of course) it tends to make a whole dream form. |
