Let's say the SP you are having is irrelevant. Let's concentrate on your hallucinations - HH.
All that you are experiencing are classic HH that we may/may not get when WILDing. Sounds, images, touches.
1. If you see scary images, I gotta ask, do you start your WILD attempt scared? Thinking about scary things that you had in previous attempts? If yes, that is the likely reason why you are getting them. HH respond to our thoughts, feelings and expectations. Try to have nice and pleasant thoughts. Think of love and how nothing can hurt you or scare you, because they are all good, and you love and accept them all.
This had worked for me before in lucid and also in non-lucid dream. I saw something scary but quickly thought "I love you, you are good", and it transformed right before my eyes into something non-treatening.
Also, when I WILD, sometimes I get a thought about all the creepy things some people experience. But I quickly dismiss it and think about some nice place I would like to be in my lucid. Or I just repeat my mantra, that pushes all other thoughts out of my head.
Here is an example of how thoughts influence our HH:
I was WILDing on my sofa, and I heard my cat by my side. I started to worry that she will jump on my and ruin my attempt. Few moments later, this furry little creature, that looked like a squrell, ran through my face and started licking my brain. I saw this creature in my minds eye, I felt the wind it made while running on my face, I felt the little feet and I heard them running on my face. It was totally unexpected and incredibly realistic. But since then I'm even more carefull about what I think while WILDing.
2. We don't alway get the same HH. Sometimes we may even get none. But when we do, based on mine and others experiences, there can by few types of HH and we can enter LD based on what we experience. (If you don't get HH, or you would prefer to enter LD differently, please read this excellent tutorial by sageous. He will explain why we sould not worry about HH at all. WILD)
A. Images (Pictures, videos)
You may start getting visual clues. Like swirling of black and gray fog behing your closed eyelids. (You have to pay attention to your closed eyelids, otherwise you may not notice them). This may evolve into shapes made out of this same fog. I hear reports of faces, skulls, and other things.
Little later on, you may get individual images of different items. I have seen clock, butterfly... These can be on the same unicolor background. Meaning they are just freestanding images. But you can also get flashes of vistas, that cover more of your field of view. I have seen some beautiful trees and places. So far, these are all just images.
Later on, you may see some animated action. People walking around, cartoon characters performing... These may evolve into movies, that cover your entire field of view. Whe I get this, I see this videos from birds eye view. I'm flying over them. This is when I know, that what I'm looking at is a fully formed dream and I can enter it. You can find your own way, but this is how I do it. I pick a spot on the ground and I say slowly and deliberatly "I am there". At this moment I feel being whisked into the video. When my feet touch the ground, I can tell that I'm inside of an environment. No longer looking into it, but being surrounded by it. I'm in a lucid dream.
B. Images (seeing through eyelids)
Often times when I WILD, I realize, that I can see my room around me. But when I do, I don't alway think that it's strange, that my eyes are closed and I'm wilding, and i should not be seeing my room. That's why I started to repeat a mantra "When I see my room, I get up". So when I get to that point, it reminds me what I need to do.
You have to have some faith at this point. Because you are most likely 100% sure that you are awake. But have faith and do what you have read so many times about what other people do. Stand up from your bed. Same way, as you would normally. Or, roll out. As if you wanted to roll to your side. When you do, you will realize, that you are inside of it, lucid in a dream. From there, just walk away, or fly away...
C. Moving sensations
Any type of falling through bed, flying head first at incredible speed, floating up, summersaulting, vibrations...
When this happens, you could be already in a dream. Try same thing as above. Stand up or roll out. You do this by giving your legs and body mental commands. Just "think"
to get up. If it doesn't work or you feel your "real" body moving, stop and wait a little longer.
Sorry if I missed some of your questions. Good luck.
