WILD Attempt after a year of not lucid dreaming

      Hi all!

So it's christmas and finally I have a few weeks to get back into lucid dreaming again haha

Ever since I started (last christmas) I always found the WILD method to naturally be the best method, as strange as that is.
Last year at my peak, I think I managed to WILD 2-3 times/day for 4 days straight, and my dreams where EXTREMELY clear (maybe more clear than real life haha).

So I started to WILD today during a nap and after 10-15mins I reached SP and started hearing voices/feeling vibrations, this went on for around a minute when suddenly I "fell out of my bed onto the ground".
At this point, I DID NOT realize this was indeed a False awekening, and thought I actually fell out of my bed (-,-) so I went back to sleep in my dream and woke up naturally...

Can someone direct me as to why this happened? The dream felt so real I thought It wasn't a dream haha.
Could it be because the last time I ever recorded/properly recalled a dream was like one year ago?

Sorry for making this so long.

      Thanks in advance,

Haha, i don't think it was a dream, when you fell out of the bed. I mean it was, just not FA. You were in a lucid dream, you only didn't realize it, IMO. That's how I started many of my WILDs. After the sensations are over (which btw are not SP), I either get up from sofa, or I roll our of my body. It seems that you perhaps wanted to turn over, and you kept rolling. You were still aware, I suspect. But it surprised you, lol, and and I don't blame ya.

So next time just give your body a mental command to roll to the side and if you hit the ground and it won't hurt, you will know you are in a LD : P Btw, I have never hit the ground. It always feels as if I stop just an inch off the ground, or it is so soft, like falling on a cloud.

Just keep in mind, that when you feel all those crazy sensations, or even less crazy ones, you are most likely in a LD already and you can get up/roll out. Happy dreams

Hey, thanks for the reply, just 1 question.

Do you think I should start recording dreams again since I haven't been at this for a year now? even if I plan to ONLY practice WILD? Is it needed to record my dreams?

Recording your dreams serves many purposes. Most of us here like doing it, because it's cool to read through them later. Find patterns, like if bed time or length of sleep corresponds with successfull LD, if we took supplements, what RCs we used and if they showed up in our dreams...

When we record our dreams, we think about them. We like them and we are happy for them and for remembering them. That tells our mind, that we want more of them.

It really is the best tool we have that helps our recall. We can even use our dream journal to pre-program our dreams. When we write down our future goals, again, we visualize and our mind is paying attention to our wishes and intents. It helps us have better memory in our dream, of what we wanted to do and recall things from our daytime lives.

      I can only recommend it.
