      WILD Method Tips?

So ever since I heard about lucid dreaming and the methods involved, I had always attempted the WILD method. I have been doing this for quite a while now but I am having some issues. I have been practicing this method for as long as I can remember but I have some questions about it. Here are some questions.

1.) Are you allowed to do something like swallow when attempting WILD? Will it disturb the effect?
2.) I obtain a sense of "numbness" throughout my body. Now what?
3.) Do binaural beats help with this method?

      Thanks!

      ~Brad

      Hey Brad,

1.) I wouldn't stress too much. If you need to swallow, just do it.

2.) It sounds like a possible signpost. For me, I just wait until a dream forms, or I otherwise begin to transition.

3.) I don't think so. They are certainly not necessary.

EDIT: if you are in the middle of, or very clearly approaching transition, then I would avoid swallowing or worrying about anything other than experiencing the WILD.

Welcome to lucid dreaming, bwink. If you stick with it, it will be very rewarding! Now, for your questions:

      1) Yes yes yes yes yes, you can move all you want. This notion that you need to be perfectly still is probably the dumbest myth out there regarding lucid dreams.

      2) Now you need to actually WILD. Use the guide in my sig.

      3) No.
