    Magic Is Powerful

    #338 - DEILD - 5:47AM

Another failed WILD. I DEILD from some dream I can't recall.

I feel myself subtly transition from wake to dream to wake. I know the feeling and worry my excitement is ruining my DEILD. My heart is racing but I manage to calm myself while I focus on my body awareness. After a few seconds I am back in. I don't hesitate and get up rather quickly.

I move to the front door and see how vividly a light from the other room is. I feel some physical sensation like my eyes are really opening. I worry that I am about to wake up. I almost close my eye but say "Screw it" and open them fully. This made the dream seem more clear and vivid than my normal AP style dreams. Feeling happy, I step out into the night. I shout out something, "WELL. HERE WE ARE AGAIN." The feel and sound of my voice is like waking life and I am pleased with the high amount of lucidity and vividness in this dream

In my yard I look up and see a uniform blanket of tiny dim stars. Some lettering starts to overlay the sky. I look away not wanting to get sucked into some crazy randomness but when I do the ground tilts and wavers causing some momentary destabilization. I quickly correct this my focusing my vision on one point of grass.

It's too dark for my liking and I try various voice commands to get some light but give up after a while. Instead, I decide to try out my new found ice powers. I do the same as the last LD but this time I only see a fain orb that quickly vanishes. I try again to the same effect. Now I change techniques that I thought of in waking life. I do some over exaggerated hand motions and shout some random fake Japanese words to build up emotions and energy. I release a blue orb the looks much better. Suddenly, I notice there is some traffic down the street. The cars seem to be entering some sort of energy field that I had inadvertently created. The field is creating a electrical light spectrum causing the cars to catch fire and explode.

As I walk over to check it out, a huge fireball erupts and permanently creates some daylight. I wonder if I can cause another explosion by thinking about it but nothing happens. I begin to hear shouts and screams as people panic in the streets. I step into the street in front of a strange but fancy looking blue Chrysler. They slow and come to a stop just before me. I decide some TK would be fun and I lit the car high into the air and then fling it into a brick building. The explosion could have been better. I let out a powerful yell and begin to do some more damage but the dream suddenly crashes.

I am startled to find myself at work. I feel like I was in a deep daydream and something has startled me. I realize I have been chewing on a plastic probe and I have bits of hard plastic in my mouth and throat. I start to choke as I wake up.

Oh my, what is going on here? A full transition to a very dangerous sorcerer! It certainly wouldn't have been the same without the Japanese words!

Heehee Dreamer mentioned using emotion for dream control and Ive been watching a lot of anime lately so it seemed a good idea.

Look at this cackling, pelvic-thrusting mad wizard tearing his way through the dreamscape, wow!

I liked the random, totally made-up Japanese words, too. Not just because it's funny (it is) but also because those kinds of theatrics are great for dream control IMO!
