Please help, cant seem to get past vibrations!

Hello this is my first post here, so i have know about LD for a few years now and have had a few, i have gotten my dream recal up and do reality checks but its not working so i have started to attempt WILD, i wake up 4 hours after i fall asleep and normally fall asleep when trying or this happenes, i stay conscious and i start to feel the vibrations but after about ten seconds of them they go away and i am not is SP its like it just goes back to being where i was a minute ago, idk why this happens and really want to get to SP, also every morning i wake up in SP and have gotten to the point where the creepiest visions don't bother me at all and I always try and wild straight from waking into SP but when i close my eyes i seem yo never have any images just blackness, also i have tried AP from my morning sleep paralysis and use the rope technique and get to a stage where i feel half out like im half separated but cant get past that to the "pop" ive done it once but that was during a nap, sorry this vered kinda far from just wild but they are all related theough SP and I figured you guys may have some good advice about turning SP into WILDS and helping me get past vibrations, thank you! Sorry if spelling is bad

      This is not uncommon.

Be sure not to move your body at all, the smallest movements will alert your brain-body you are awake.

Try altering the intensity of your focus on the exit method in question.

Try a few minutes of meditation before the attempt.

A few things I have done to move through the vibrational state into a full Ld.
      1. Imagine a magnetic sphere several feet above your body pulling you upward. Hold it few a few minutes or however long is needed. If you feel your subtle body, dream body, mental body, etc. start to pulse, vibrate, morph, undulate, and so on you are on the right track.
      2. Role your mental body around in circles.
      3. Focus on where the vibrations are most intense and mentally 'sweep' those regions with your focus, push and pull those vibrations into other parts of the body. One should do this to the point where the vibrations become wholly pervasive through the entire body.
      4. Using both tactile and visual imagination, focus on your throat Chakra, imagine it floating out of your body and hovering there.

One may try alternating different methods similar to the rope technique. The latter, net, floating, methods. Or something Like this.

"...you begin by imagining a shape resembling yourself standing in front of you...Try to imagine how your own body would look if you were standing in its place; try to transfer your consciousness to the Body of Light."- Aleister Crowley

Perhaps do some stretching or take a hot bath before the attempt to increase physical relaxation. Epsom salt I heard can be useful for relaxation.

Be as objective and calm as possible when these things are occurring. Do not let any kind of aversion or attachment muddle your mind and focus. And.

"Act without lust of result; work without anxiety"- THE TAO TEH KING translated by Aleister Crowley
"Parable.- Those thinkers in whom all stars move in cyclic orbits are not the most profound: whoever looks into himself as into vast space and carries galaxies in himself also knows how irregular all galaxies are; they lead into the chaos and labyrinth of existence."- Friedrich Nietzsche, the gay science, First published in 1882 revised in 1887, translated by Walter Kaufmann [/SIGPIC]

Maybe it would be a good idea, LucidFusion, to try to understand that getting to SP is not a requirement of a successful WILD (neither are vibrations, BTW).

If you had simply let those vibrations pass and stayed focused on your dream, you might have found your dream forming in a few more minutes. Actual SP, with which you are familiar, also pretty much only occurs when you are waking up, so you'll likely never "get to" it during a WILD attempt; the "SP" most people feel during WILD attempts is probably just a sense of deep relaxation or the onset of REM Atonia... and, since REM Atonia only happens after you've fallen asleep and are dreaming, it is a very good idea to ignore it (whatever you want to call it) and join the dream that may have already started.

WILD is not about the noise you experience on the way to sleep, but about nothing more than maintaining your waking-life self-awareness through the falling-asleep process. If you can have your mind in a place that does not expect, or look for, things like vibrations, SP, or hypnagogic Imagery (HI), then you might find WILD's much easier to achieve.

There is more to achieving a WILD than just lying down and holding still; if you are interested, you might check out my DVA WILD class, where maybe you'll find some other things to help you get to your dream.

      Oh, and welcome to DreamViews!

Sageous is on point here. You would do well to listen to him.

One thing I like to add about "getting through vibrations" is that vibrations are not a step in the ladder to get to a wild. They are more like a symptom of falling asleep. You might have it, you might not. They are a sign that you are falling asleep, but you don't want to get past them, or you will mess up your sleep. You want to go through them. What happens is that as you are fall asleep and remain aware, you notice that random sensations happen to your body. When you notice these too much, you stop falling asleep and stay awake. The goal is always sleep, and sleep, by my definition is "being disconnected from your immediate surroundings" even if you know what they are, you are disconnected. Paying attention to vibrations and trying to pass through that and concentrate on it will keep you from falling asleep as you keep that connection to waking.

I personally don't mind moving when I'm WILDing. I usually just stay up for 10-30 minutes and simply go back to bed. Lately I've been doing SSILD as well, but for me SP just sets in as I'm falling asleep. As for transitioning into a dream from SP, I simply wait a minute, and the stand up from my bed. At this point I do a RC, and 19/20 times I'm dreaming.
      Spoiler for Goals:
