Hello everybody, |

|
|
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Have questions about lucid dreaming? DM me.
Sleep only 5-6 hours one night. Sleep 12 hours or so the next night. For me the dreams I will have at the end of that 12 hours are so vivid and realistic! |
|
Focus on having lucid dreams, think about it nightly and vivid dreams come as a stepping stone to lucids. I supplement this with getting around 10 hours of sleep as often as I can, which ensures I'll have several long REM periods for which to use for vivid dreams. That's all it takes. I don't use any lucid aids to speak of. |

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
I reckon the best conditions for vivid, memorable dreams are to be generally well-rested and well-fed, relatively stressfree/mentally calm & content and generally mindfull (meaning not dreamy, forgetfull or disconnected from the here and now) |

Because I can, 4-5 shots of Privilegé V.S.O.P usually almost always does the trick. |

I don't remember where I heard this, but eating peppermint or drinking peppermint tea before bed actually works. |
|
My dreams are vivid when I make a point of setting my intention as I fall asleep. I make a point of remembering to remember to have vivid dreams each night. Just like I would make a point of remembering to remember to pack my gym bag when I wake up. I schedule it into my brain as I am falling asleep. |

I tried 2 spoons of honey just before sleeping, got a lucid at night without WBTB . |

Apple juice seems to increase vividness quite a bit for me. I want to try some warm cider soon, as I don't like chugging a glass or two of cold stuff. |
|
Every time I wake up from a nightmare I always have super vivid lucid dreams |

"For a long time it gave me nightmares, having to witness an injustice like that. It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be, I can still hear them taunting him. 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'... How come they just couldn't give him some cereal?"
Oddly enough if I am in the sunshine a good bit in improves my chances of a LD the next night. Not vividness really though. |

The idea of avoiding supplements is that since lucid dreaming can be done without them, it can be done anywhere anytime you can sleep through a REM phase. If you become too dependent on supplements like weed, you make it more difficult for you to have lucid dreams of your own will. In other words, it's basically cheating your way into lucids. There's nothing actually wrong with it, but doing it this way makes it more difficult to use other common methods when you haven't got any supplements handy. |

Datura is interesting. It can cause very long dream-like experiences, which is what you're looking for I bet. Anyway, the toxicity comes from cardiac failure which you will most likely not survive, so if you have a heart condition it's out of the question. I'd suggest against doing it because it's very easy to overdose on AND nobody knows how much a regular dose is. Oh and most of the people who've done it can't remember anything that went on during their experience or had extremely frightening ones. The risk is just too high and we know too little. I don't know if this makes a difference, but if you are going to do it anyway, eat seeds as opposed to smoking it. Hope I helped. |
